So I decided to whip up a quick batch of Butterscotch Chocolate Chip Cookies (like I’ve said in previous posts, I Love to bake). So without further adieu, the cookies.
2/3 Cup Shortening
2/3 Cup Butter, softened
1 Cup sugar
1 Cup Br. Sugar
2 Tsp. Vanilla
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
1 Tsp. Salt
Approx. 12oz. Chocolate Chips and 8oz. Butterscotch chips
Cream together Shortening, Butter and sugars.
Add in eggs and vanilla, mix very well.
Sift together the dry ingredients (flour, soda, salt) and mix until smooth.
Add in chips.
Bake at 375° for 8-10 Minutes.
Yield- Approx. 6 Dozen
