Butterscotch Chocolate Chip Cookies

I was sitting at the table, waiting for my daughter to finish her bowl of chili I made for tonight’s dinner. When I baking nerve was hit. ” We need something sweet for after dinner.”

So I decided to whip up a quick batch of Butterscotch Chocolate Chip Cookies (like I’ve said in previous posts, I Love to bake). So without further adieu, the cookies.

Ingredients:

2/3 Cup Shortening

2/3 Cup Butter, softened

1 Cup sugar

1 Cup Br. Sugar

2 Eggs

2 Tsp. Vanilla

3 Cup FlourCookie

1 Tsp. Baking Soda

1 Tsp. Salt

Approx. 12oz. Chocolate Chips and 8oz. Butterscotch chips

Directions:

Cream together Shortening, Butter and sugars.

Add in eggs and vanilla, mix very well.

Sift together the dry ingredients (flour, soda, salt) and mix until smooth.

Add in chips.

Spoon small balls of batter onto greased baking sheet.DSC03386

Bake at 375° for 8-10 Minutes.

Yield- Approx. 6 Dozen
